New Years Eve 2012

We have celebrated New Years many years with our friends the Hatches.  We have always gotten together at our house with our kids and played games, ate lots of food, and rang in the New Year watching the Space Needle fireworks show on the television.  Since our kids are getting older we thought it would be fun to go into Seattle this year and watch the space needle live from Attachemate (Zeke's office), which is only a few blocks away from the Seattle Center.

Our first stop for the night was the Spaghetti Factory.
The girls each brought their dolls... it was a party!
And we didn't have to grocery shop, cook or clean up a mess, a fabulous way to start off our
New Years Celebration!

Not knowing if Attachemate would be crowded with others watching the fireworks we decided to go to the movie "We Bought A Zoo"

We arrived at Attahemate around 10pm and found the place all to ourselves.  The kids were so excited to roam free around the halls of Dad's office and the boys were thrilled with the game room all to themselves.  It was amazing to be in the city, that was hoping with excitement and have an amazing view of the needle with all this room to ourselves. We had only wished we had come sooner!

Once midnight came we ran outside and blow our horns and watched the fireworks.
(the 3 lights in the distance is the start of them)

Bye 2011!
